These PCX files were converted from the TGA format on Z-soft's Photofinish.
They were created from RDSDRAW, a program that allows one to create
'random dot images'. Random dot images are pictures composed of seemingly
scattered and random dots but if looked upon in a certain way, 3D images
can be made out. The effects are surprising, especially for the first time.
VIEWING THE IMAGES:
Load up the images on any drawing program that supports the PCX format.
You may view them on screen or print them out on a printer. You will notice
two black dots above the image. Focus/defocus your eyes at the two black
dots until you see THREE black dots instead of two. Without refocusing
your eyes, shift your sight at the square/rectangle of smaller dots under
the black dots. You should see the 3D images now.
NOTES:
I have seen Random Dot prints and posters sold in malls and poster
stores all over. They sell for about $10 to $49 depending upon the size
of the image and where they are sold. If you cannot make out my images,
you may try seeking out places where they are sold and try your luck there.
The salespeople would be happy to "help you see".
Watch out for more Random Dot images here in this BBS......
